Woo Hoo! 'Around The World In A Day' Party

Posted by Happy Homemaker UK

Greetings! Come in, come in! I'll take your coat, if you are wearing one - pull up a chair and stay awhile. Heck, even go barefoot if you like :)

I am so glad you are here. It wouldn't be the same without you!

Cup of tea?

Ooh, I can't wait to hear all about the lovely places expat bloggers now call home.
Transport us through your words and photos. I know we will love it!

I hope you don't mind that I brought a few desserts to share. I just couldn't choose one, so I brought them all!

A few party rules...

Guests :: Everyone is invited to read and enjoy the party :)

VIPs :: Please only link a post if you are an expat. Your post can be anything about your hosting country.

Logistics :: Follow the instructions to register your link below. Contact me if you need help.

Linky Love :: Mention my blog with a link in your post so others can join the fun (as a courtesy, but not required)

Party Mixer :: Visit a few of the other links and say 'hi' - because it's more fun to meet others at a party

And without further ado, take it away...  Thank you for coming!

I didn't make it this week, but I'm off into NY tomorrow, so I'll take my camera and link up next week. Great idea Laura. So happy, that others are finding your well researched, well written and entertaining blog. You'll be at a 1000 in no time. Lx

Laura,
I love your party. I am not an expat, but I will try to do a linky-do for you if I can get some blogging time this weekend.

I adore that first photo. LOVE it.

I look forward to reading all of these...and making new friends. It will take me days, and days....to read. What fun!

Phew, just made it to the party in time...just before the clock strikes midnight here in Australia. I was having too much fun reading the other guest entries that I almost forgot that I needed to write one too!

Expat? Hmm ... Well, I was born in the US but I live in the England in my head! :)

I am fashionably late to your party so all apologies! I have brought with me a big fat bag of tootsie rolls, kraft mac & cheese, and a box of PROPER fig newtons (virtually because they are all the things I miss from the States that I can't get in the UK) ;)

I've linked up a post about my weekend in London so hope that applies and made sure to link back here! What a lovely idea though, really looking forward to having a nose through everyone's entries! xxx

Thanks for hosting the party! And OH MY GOD, totally drooling over all those cakes in that photo, how beautiful. You know I have issues with the baking department (well, particularly the icing/frosting department!) here in Belgium!
Off now to read up on all the blogs, after surviving my 4th inburgering class all day...

Goood Evening Miss Laura!
Yep, I know, fashionably late, but in the US it's still in the middle of the day, right? And you where probably not sleeping anyway, with all these guest to entertain and all...
Put my two cents in the link, love this idea, hope you will do it another time, thanks for the drinks and cake, yummy! Now I need to get hopping to some other lovely expat girls,
See you sweetie,
Maureen xx
Oh, and thanks for being such a lovely hostess.

Laura, I'm back again! Apparently the rapeseed is only planted every other year by the farmers as they give the fields a break in between. So it might be your turn in your area this summer! Robx
